BUSCOM Purchases

The Business Committee (BUSCOM) buys goods on behalf of members — food items, household purchases, and larger-value goods — and resells them at a fair, disclosed mark-up, repaid over a term suited to the size of the purchase. This is a Murabaha-style (cost-plus sale) arrangement, not an interest-bearing loan.

Repayment terms by purchase size

• Food items: not more than 3 months
• Purchases ₦50,000–₦200,000: not more than 6 months
• Purchases ₦250,000–₦300,000: not more than 9 months
• Purchases above ₦350,000: not more than 12 months
• Purchases above ₦1,000,000: not more than 18 months
